I am sitting in my temporary canal house watching handsome dutchies ride by... it's pretty, it's autumn, it's sunny and it's unseasonably cold...
We have our clothes now, they arrived only ten hours after us, (lounging in emergency airport tshirts by the upstairs windows, like I said, watching the dutch ride by) we have bikes and we have been riding... It's as pretty as I remember, and they keep bringing us little biscuits with our koffie... I'm planning to stop eating them soon... I'm also planning to eat mushrooms and ride around the park all day... maybe neither is such a smart plan?
I'm on the otherside of the world, and now when i log into my blog it's all in dutch... nu opslaan? sjabloon? Hodfodamner!
na ja!
Maybe soon I will start sleeping at more normal hours, and maybe soon I will post some photos... But probably I will eat more cheese.

goodbye to berlin
it's been lovely this bit of summer...
i've been laying in annies backyard, sitting on window ledges, bbqing and drinking beer...
hanging out with loved ones... nursing sick boyfriends and sleeping in strange beds, catching buses and living out of a suitcase... it's mostly rather nice really...
I got totally spoilt by the amazing miss penelope with special gifts to take and keep me warm and shiny... much love lady...
anyway tomorrow is gonna be 31 degrees and i might just have to climb into the spa and drink an icy beer to toast the missing summer...

No more fireworks from the couch... No more gazing down the alley at fashionable Melbourne types... No more stumbling out of my house half asleep only to run into the glamourous peoples of Melbourne... No more frenchy crepe love... No more Bagels... No more studio in the building 20 steps and a creaky lift away from bed...
I have been busily crossing things off the leaving list, like summery Bbq's and exhibitions and now I just have to finish this film I'm making with ms freeze frame Kate... And present it to the staff at the school this thursday... Running out of time? ME?

We have been picnicing on the empty lounge room floor. No furniture. I am painting wood. Lots of wood. I love google image search. I found this nice diamond pineapple whilst doing some last minute research...

um, til amsterdam, til berlin...
it will be such a relief to get on that plane.
life is a little too crazy at the moment. though i did have a very good time at our party. now i'm surrounded by boxes and unfinished projects, and it troubles me.
this will be finished though. come see.
DELLYWOOD
yes, i called it dellywood. at the new alice euphemia store in gertrude street, fitzroy, thursday the 11th from 6-8pm. there will be at least one wood nymph and all those pretty alice girls to smile sweetly at... I have painted a forest full of woody words, YAY! WORDS! and a rainbow of birds. TWEET! BIRDS!
come speak to the trees with me.
