Though, you know what they say, if you haven't got anything nice to say...
I woke up saturday morning to no hot water, and when I went to the back of our flat to the laundry, the washing machine had been mugged for it's coin box. So after schlepping to My Beautiful Laundrette to sit and stare forlornly at our clothes being faded and shrunken, I was just about ready to take on the day.
Thank god for friends to see. After hanging out in the park with Annie and Sailor I was waiting for the tram, witness to some random act of violence. The guy next to me was attacked by a stranger, punched in the face and had his nose broken and pouring blood. Out of the four people at the tram stop, I was the only person who bothered to even acknowledge it. I walked him to the medical centre. If I were to be punched in the face by a stranger, I'd hope someone might bother to help me.
Then the tram was 40 mins late as it had hit a cyclist. When I got home there was stinking cat shit in the corridor.
Anyway, I had a very nice dinner with Paul & Lydia. Looked at Jupiter through the telescope and played wii bowling, so all is not entirely miserable. Just a little bit, eh.

don't forget the overflowing sludge! yaaay! i'd help you if your nose got bust.
wow! you were surprisingly stoic about it all - i would have been a raving loony!
I don't know why I didn't realise you've got a blog. And this just helped me through yet another nappy-fest, no end. Thanks dear Dell. I guess the silver lining here is that you didn't step in the cat crap and tread it all through your home... which I recall my boyfriend doing in a lovely little B&B we stayed at.
