Fujisan

Here are six views of Mt fuji. When we got to the little town of Kawaguchiko we were very excited to see this mountain, because, as they like to say, he is notoriously shy, often with his head stuck up in the clouds.

The whole town was strung up with this beautiful shinto lightning rope, Shimenawa, which I was obsessed with during the whole trip - I love me some rope. Hold your breath for my post on shrine ropes, I bet you can't wait.

Look, a perfect collar for a mountain. We rode our bikes all around fujisan and his pristine lakes. And then we left. I would however, go back there in a lightning flash if I had the chance.
