These flowers are pretty and dramatic outside my kitchen window right now. Not sure how much more opening they plan to do, but I'm watching, either way.
I'm also watching these strawberries, and I had the first one today. Delicious. I love our tiny bit of dirt (especially after our vast expanse of concrete in Thornbury) and have planted mint, thyme and tomatoes, the lettuce and jalapenos are just getting started and the parsley is going bananas. My million pot plants are also doing alright. Only a few casualties after abandoning them for weeks in Japan.
