This last week. We saw Omar Souleyman at NSC on Sunday Night. That psychedelic Syrian talking folk makes me happy, as does the epic frenzy of superfuture keyboards. Omar is cool, but maybe the man on the korg is even cooler. Click on the listening pic to the right for a truly awesome video.

Os Mutantes on Friday night were probably not cool at all. But I loved their obvious joy to be playing, and their harmonies, and their velvet capes.
