talking to the animals

It's spring and the animals are everywhere. We saw parrots, a miniature horse foal OMG! CUTE! and baby lambs and black wallabies and kangaroos, fat lizards and an ancient wombat with mange.

Escape to the mountains!

I'm going to put on my Canadian Tuxedo and head for the hills. We have a car for a few days, and plan to fill it with warm things; To visit some mountains and trees, some family and some op shops and to buy some country produce and probably some old junk.
