ms fits’ tales of unfortunate fish with unfortunate, yet dramtic, names, made me think a little on names...
twins. there was an article in a magazine about them. we liked a pair named wah & man.
what a good set of names. picture them as little babies, one named wah, with a brother named man. MAN.
how pleasing.
I’m told I’m having twins. by a psychic, my great grandma and my mother too... I argue that you have to want children to end up with twins; but, they just ignore my protestations.
on the upside, it’d be a good opportunity to choose some complementary names. fish & chips might be a winner, but winnie & blue just about made me want children, just to lumber them with that. so frenchy & romantic yet white trash & desolate... covers all possible outcomes really. no REALLY... it’s not SO evil, It’s from the heart... & it’d be just FINE if they had a French father*
REALLY IT WOULD.
*or other mother (even better)
I’ll see what I can do.
in other news, I know I said I was over art, but I just saw some exhibitions that made me smile...
the Ghanan fantasy coffins at 45 downstairs (45 flinders lane) are a wonder to behold. I might choose to go out in the belly of a shark on the day I die...
just the notion of dying in a celebratory, last wishes, last words... ‘GOD, I do what I want’ ‘suck on this brothers, I’m going out inside a silk-lined radish’ type manner really pleases me...
last words indeed...
also stunning textiles at rmit gallery...

I too have been told that I will have twins, by psychics, an astrologer and um, my French boyfriend. I'll see if he likes Winnie and Blue. He does smoke them ocassionally, and looks blank when I tease him for smoking bogan cigarettes.
How about your twins can be W & B, and they can play with mine, Gitane and Gauloise.
