hi babies,

i went to platform last night for the launch of 'making space' it was crowdy and pleasing with two glasses of wine in my fists. rachael hooper's little city made me happy. look at it if you're passing by.

i later went to see a play by my darling's kylee brooke and joshua. they were wonderful. if you are feeling like the theatre i'd recommend it. tonight only. from 8:30 til 9:30. with bands afterwards and a party. with two of my favourites, dj delicious and crazy towering moose. at the warehouse, on the corner of johnson and chapel street fitzroy. enter via chapel street.

i will come after the old bar. gotta sell my tshirts and dance to my favourite band. miss bachelorette is lovely and ten rays are my new favourite band and i have only seen them in the garage.

we made tshirts for the tranquilizers today. a very limited edition is strewn across my lounge room floor. you could buy one at their gig on saturday night at the old bar if you liked. they are playing with the stunning ms bachelorette (NZ) and a much anticipated first gig from ten rays. yays.



Also they have a new album out, and we, sleepclub, aka dell & adam, did the cover artwork.

fart

yesterday i visited neon parc. for geoff newton's new paintings. it was alright.

today i went to helen gory and saw some crazy ugly art. that was also alright.

between being rained on again, trying on and coveting expensive hi-tops and running for shelter i saw some clever anagrams at sutton gallery then walked around the corner to their warehouse to see nick mangan's new show. alright. then i went to conical and coveted their space... that's about it. i need a sleep.

anyway, i bet you can't get enough of my scintilating art coverage.

just to mix it up, i went to see 300 at the imax cinema. i laughed, alot. holy crap. WTF is wrong with david wenham's voice? anyway, it was worth it for one sword swinging scene. wow. also, some pleasing sprays of blood and limbs and bodies dropping.

tonight i might go see bachelorette at the wesley...
my former housemate lou is playing too... so i better go see her before she goes away.

i did mean to go to goonlight cinema, but before i thought i had jumped a tram back to the city... where i went to the pub and talked about art... it must be critical.

missing

hello, i've been a bit distracted...
some international visitors, namely the lovely & amazing estelle...
then andrea 'miss australia' herself and cam. all loved up and a sight for sore eyes...
we threw them a small party...
then went to the country. on the train.
saw a koala a wombat a kangaroo WOO
did lots of reading under an orange tree and talking on the verandah
also lots of looking at birds
i'm back in melbourne, now what?
pigeons rat alley and horse piss... or that's what i noticed when i walked up the street earlier...
i'm decidedly mopey...
BUT, i saw daniel kitson last night... and laughed a lot.

hmmm... a cleansing diet... will we survive?
