I think means go slowly in Italian, which is pretty much the perfect name for a handsome new cafe, all wood and red and corners and no nonsense. You know, Handsome.


Speaking of good-looking, look at this guy, from Brendan Huntley's show at Utopian Slumps. I love his ceramics, and the one below was one of my favourites. He was part of a pair, and one of a few I'd be happy to live with if I had piles of spare money. Ha, there's a concept. Spare money.

Featuring this, 'Imagine the Air' by Nathan Gray. A man who also has a show opening on thursday night at the Narrows, which will be a must see. While you are out you might want to get along to A4 art at West Space, which also opens thursday night and includes work by many clever people, also a little something by me.

I have caught glimpses of Damp collective over the years, from broken bottles and opening fights at 200 Gertrude street to disco tiolets at tbc. I think I like em. There you have it. In my thoroughly un-researched and unprofessional opinion.

Anyways, i liked this first show at Utopian Slumps.
