around the corner

We have an exhibition here in two weeks time, part of a project called Vlaknaast, meaning 'just off' which I think translates as around the corner. Utilizing public and private spaces. I am hoping to secure a handsome little boat to exhibit my latest foray into tedious processes, hand-stitched flags. That'd be nice.

So I am busily stitching, interspersed with walks along the harbours and canals happily staring at boats and flags and piles of rope. I wonder how long the sheer pleasure of looking at a new world can last?
