Hurrah

... for night drives across paddocks with alpacas like fluffy clouds with new romantic haircuts, spotlight by the headlights, perched in the back of a stranger's ute travelling to an abandoned mineshaft deep in the rocky paddock, which is 120 metres into the hillside and turns out to be full of welcome sparrows who flutter in your hair and in your pocket. This is just the sort of adventure I associate with Kade.

We also spotted giant mushrooms on our walk to the waterhole and amateur mycologist Adam took some samples he has since identified as Phylloporus something or other, unique and rather interesting, and me, the amateur orchardist picking granny smiths and golden delicious from the tree (in the hope of making some special harvest chutney club goods) which I guess is not that interesting for all the chutney club begrudgers out there.
